About New England: 2002

Co-hosted by the Center for Women & Enterprise and Springboard Enterprises, Springboard: New England 2002 took place November 22, 2002 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. New England 2002 featured the next generation of high-growth women entrepreneurs in technology and life sciences from the New England and New York areas. The Forum showcased 20 of the strongest women entrepreneurs to an audience of the area's top corporate, angel, and venture investors.

Center for Women & Enterprises

Established in 1995, the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women start and grow their own businesses. CWE is a national leader among women's business development agencies. CWE's mission is to empower women to become economically self-sufficient and prosperous through entrepreneurship. CWE offers education, training, technical assistance, women's business enterprise certification and access to both debt and equity capital to entrepreneurs at every stage of business development.
