About Mid-Atlantic: 2000
The second forum in the Springboard 2000 series took place July 11-12, 2000 at America Online headquarters in Dulles, Virginia. Co-hosted by the National Women's Business Council, the Morino Institute, the Women's Growth Capital Fund and America Online, Springboard 2000: Mid-Atlantic showcased 44 women-led e-commerce, technology and life-sciences companies to the region's leading investors. This exclusive forum attracted support from leading venture capitalists, angel networks and other private investors looking for prime investment opportunities up and down the East Coast.
