2008/09 Program Sponsorship Opportunities

The following programs are scheduled or planned for 2008/2009.

Springboard Venture Forums: Springboard Venture Forums are the organization's signature program. Applicants go through an eight-month recruiting, screening and coaching program, involving hundreds of investors, entrepreneurs, service providers and entrepreneurial institutions/organizations. This culminates in forum presentations before audiences of accredited angel, venture and corporate investors.

• Springboard ALLTHINGSMEDIA: 2008 - Springboard will co-host with the SheMadeIt initiative of the Paley Center for Media a Venture Forum featuring women-led companies leading all types of media, entertainment and communications companies. The program will be launched in March 2008 and the Forum is scheduled for October 30 in New York City.
• Springboard: Medical Devices 2008/09 - Springboard is planning a 'road show' forum program for early stage medical device companies led by women. Companies selected for the Forum program will receive coaching prior to presenting their businesses before invitation-only audiences of sector specific investors in 3 to 4 cities throughout the USA.
• Springboard: Israel 2009 - Springboard will co-host its second Forum to feature companies sourced outside the US. The program features Israeli women-led companies who will participate in a Bootcamp program in Israel, a coaching program with US investors and service providers and then present their business opportunities to small groups of investors in three cities in the USA. The program is intended to prepare and showcase Israeli companies raising equity capital for US market penetration.

Sponsorship Opportunities for Springboard Venture Forums

Educational Program Opportunities:

• Springboard Winners' Circle Awards Dinner - Springboard will host its second annual Winners' Circle Awards Dinner. The program features a video presentation honoring Springboard alumnae and distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to fostering emerging growth enterprises led by women.
• Springboard Caucus - Springboard hosts an annual two-day gathering for Springboard Alumnae, the Council of National Advisors, and the Investor Committee.
• Springboard Equity Matters Seminar Series 2008/09 - Springboard co-hosts half-day customizable seminars with U.S. colleges, universities and organizations that have entrepreneurial outreach initiatives. The program offers women entrepreneurs (students, alumnae or business owners from the local community) a basic introduction to the equity capital financing process through. The agenda includes panel discussions and a networking luncheon with local investors and entrepreneurs who have been successful at raising capital.

Sponsorship Opportunities for Springboard Educational Programs

Special Sponsorship Opportunities:

• Applicant Forum - Springboard accepts applications from companies on a 'rolling admissions' basis. Applicants who complete our application form are directed to special resources, invited to respond to surveys and provided with information about relevant business opportunities. [Exclusive opportunity for one sponsor to provide resource material and access to these applicants: $25,000 per year]
• Venture Partner Nexus - (Dedicated Online Investor Community) Springboard launches its newly dedicated online community for a select group of investors who have been invited to join and access proprietary deal flow offered by Springboard. [Sponsor underwriting for this site, terms to be negotiated, $25,000/year]
